When you humiliate a peaceful people, you place a seed of evil
Medieval thoughts and ideas dressed up and dubbed legal
Once the cathedral sanctioned murder of innocent people
Power and greed, these ideas are not religious but primeval
The strong strive for freedom, while war is chosen by the feeble
There will not be peace in the world before men are equal
The most self-righteous and proud is often the most deceitful
Politicians and power, that is lethal, like h**ne and a needle
What nation would purposefully punish an entire population
Without hesitation, put kids through violent interrogation
No discrimination, cuz everyone is suffering from starvation
At least you honest, did what you promised, asked the Haitian
For half a decade you been telling these people to be patient
The evil cycle repeated, poisoning generation after generation
Feel their fear and frustration, hear their call for retaliation
Saddened to see kids sink into deep grief and resignation
But can't blame them, since they live a life in desperation
No need for an explanation, the rotten legacy of colonization
After all, we are all victims of state sponsored indoctrination
Forgotten are the heroes who liberated you from occupation
‘promises are like laws, smart men know how to break both'
Who comes across as outlaws, confused cuz you took the oath
People's rights you swore to uphold, or so we were told
Yet you look at these people with arrogance and loathe
You can fool a few, but not for long, since truth has been told
