No patience, but that's what they made us

I'm back and forth, like a f**ing tennis game
I got so much on mind, don't know how I'm not insane
My generation is just way too occupied
We care less about love, and more about living life
I know that it's not right, but what am I to do
When I care more about myself, than I do you
I know I wasn't always this way
I was down to earth, and I had good things to say
But I got caught up in reality
I'm young, I'm nineteen
Who am I supposed to be in Generation Z?

They say that I'll regret it in 20 years

Technology has ruined us
Partying's gotten more crazy, getting crazier daily
IPhone's keep us in the know
Energy drinks keep us on the go
Ear drums bursting from speakers at the show
Doing whatever we can to make some more dough
Only get what we want, never what we need
