UK alternative metal band Hundred Reasons (name taken from a poster to promote skating) emerged in early-2000 when members of two local rock outfits (Floor and Jepak) got together to form a new ensemble. After playing along with teenage heavy metal foursome Kittie the newcomers started working on their first EP supported by Fierce Panda Records' Simon Williams. After playing several gigs, including a performance along with the Northern California-based Papa Roach, Hundred Reasons signed with Columbia Records to release their debut album called Ideas Above Our Station featuring the hit single "If I Could,". ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide
