Hoa Huynh - Week 6 Reading Journal lyrics

9-18-2013 "The Read Badge of Courage" is written by Stephen Crane, and adapted by Wayne Vansan. it's a graphic novel. I read this novel before but only a few pages, so I continue where I left off. Henry, the youth soldier, was on his way to the battlefield, but not much in spirit. He kept thinking of running, and thought the bravest man in his group will be another coward on the battlefield. It's true, if I am in the army, when I know that we will lose, I will be running like devil. 9-19-2013 I continue to read the novel from yesterday. The youth arrives to the battlefield. The field is flatten, and forests on both side. Henry sees corpses scatter through out the landscape, sweat runs down from his face. Suddenly, another soldier pats his back, gives him an objects, and says "I'm a gone coon this time and I want you to take these things to my folks." From afar, his allies runs like dogs chasing them, not even conscious of the present of their allies. Then someone cried, here they come. A swarm of gray uniform man comes out in the wood with a huge flag in the front line.
