Hazelaraujo16 - Monomyth Epic Hero Essay lyrics

SCORE Initially, in the movie Star Wars the person who represents a Monomyth Epic Hero is Luke Skywalker because he goes through many things such as leaving his normal and ordinary life to go on a quest and he also faces many trials and becomes a Hero at the end. For instance, Luke feels defeated when Darth Vader k**s his mentor Obi-Wan, Star Wars Movie. This important because a monomyth Epic Hero always faces many trials in order to become a hero and sometimes feels defeated but at the end of the day he is victorious and wins the battle. Therefore, Luke Skywalker fulfills perfectly in the role of the Monomyth Epic Hero. Because of everything that he does from having a mission to accomplish and becoming a hero. Furthermore, the hero that I have chosen to perform the Monomyth Epic Hero is Harry Potter because he has many characteristics that a monomyth has. Harry potter not only confronts his enemy but also goes through the trail of not believing in himself, he also has a mentor a wise an older person which is Dumbledore who guides him through the right path also journey to get to where he is. Harry Potter shows many traits of an epic hero throughout his journey, such as being given a quest that he has no choice to complete.to demonstrate, Harry was an ordinary kid who was living with his aunt's family he did not have parents because they died when he was younger, he did not he was a wizard and had no idea that he had powers but soon he finds out the truth and has been requested to attend to the school of magic Hogwarts, Harry Potter Movie. This shows how Harry Potter symbolizes the role of a monomyth hero and how he appeals the characteristics of it. Moreover, both Heroes represent the aspects of a monomyth Epic Hero because they both have the same qualities and not know that they have a journey to go on. They also have enemies and have to confront them, they both have to face many obstacles and have mentors and at some point feel defeated. For this reason, I am neutral by saying that they both fit perfectly as Epic Heroes. To illustrate this, Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker were normal kids until they realized that they have a mission to accomplish then they left their normal lives and faced their enemies. This is mainly important because it shows how both of them are good heroes and how they have the qualities of an Epic Hero. Thus, an Epic hero goes through many things first it lives a normal life, then it goes on a journey, faces some trials and confronts his worst enemy and at the end becomes a savior and everything gets back to normal or it turns out better than before. To conclude this, an Epic hero Excels in sk**, strength, and courage, Succeeds in war and adventure Values honor and glory. Usually has a guide Battles demons or monsters and is generous to his followers but ruthless to enemies. He is also a man of action and Accepts challenges and sometimes invites problems. Makes rash decisions and takes unnecessary risks and most of the time always wins the battles against their enemies.
