Polish black metal band Hate was born in the early '90s and spent the first half of the decade gradually building their fan base with a number of demos recorded by various lineups. In 1997, a somewhat stable formation, including vocalist/guitarist Adam the First Sinner, guitarist Kaos, ba**ist Daniel, and drummer Mittloff, cut the group's domestic debut, Daemon Qui Fecit Terram, which was quickly followed by 1998's Lord Is Avenger. New ba**ist Cyrian joined in time for 1999's Victims mini-album, and 2000's Cains Way. Their first international release, 2001's Holy Dead Trinity, combined tracks from all their previous albums and was issued by World War III records. ~ Ed Rivadavia, All Music Guide
