Monday 9/30 : Truett Cathy is a real life Horatio Alger story, he grew up in a boarding school with hard work, fairness, honesty, and determination. he opened up a small restaurant in 1946, twenty years later, he opened up his first chik fil a restaurant. which was a unique new place to eat at in america, it served boneless chicken breasts and it was the first fast food restaurant to operate in a shopping mall. today there are more than 1,000 chik fil a's in the united states.
