The Gulf of Mexico Oil spill of 2010, Still to this day ignites feelings of pain and shame, Because of its long lasting negative effect on all living beings, The worst offshore environmental disaster in U.S. history, But at least figuring out who to blame is no longer a mystery, Recently, Louisiana U.S district judge Carl Barbier made it pretty evident, That this disastrous oil spill was mostly caused by BP's "gross negligence", Ignoring signs of trouble continuing to use a defective well, Led to an oil rig explosion that left 17 people injured with 11 workers k**ed, And over 200 million tons of crude oil spilled, So even though the judges decision, Will bring the total fines and settlements to around 60 billion. There is nit a price that can reverse the impact of BP making a risky profit driven decision, With no regard to the potential consequences.
