We are currently living, In a nationwide transition, A new American mission, To reduce green house gas emissions, But where does this leave Coal? For centuries it has been the dirtiest and most used fossil fuel, Now, because of Fracking and other new resources and tools, Coal is responsible, For only 39% of the american electricity being used, 27% comes from natural gas, Which is currently gaining ground fast, Solar and wind are even picking up speed, Because many Americans are beginning to understand the need, For clean and renewable energy, The rapid decline in coal consumption is causing hysteria, From 2008, Coal fired electricity is down from 50 to 35 percent, in America, Coal power plants are closing all across America, Causing many coal depending states and politicians to resent and fight against, Natural gas mainly in self defeNse, But one thing I know, If coal and natural gas are going to continue to be looked at as enemies, And not as friends, In the energy industry, The Coal dynasty era in America will surely come to an end.
