What do you call, Someone who abuses and misuses the love of a partner who gives them their all? A person with no regard to the well being, Of one of main reasons why they are eating, sleeping and breathing, I call them a human being, Because for years we have continued to rely on our oceans, For food, minerals, commerce, Medicine, oxygen, jobs and boating, But still we deny, them of the respect, dignity and honor they deserve, More than 80% of marine pollution, Is caused by land-based activities done by humans, Oil spills, The overuse of boats and automobiles Blatant abuse, Garbage and toxic waste dumping, Land-clearing and pesticide use, Just to name a few,, All which have detrimental effects to our health, We are too busy being full of ourselves, We forget that, What ever we put into the oceans comes right back, The ocean is the habitat, For numerous creatures in our life cycle, So when we pollute it, It just comes back and punches us in our lungs, in our heart, in our kidneys and in our wallet, It doesn't make sense to do it, So for the lack of a better word, I would just call ocean pollution, Just plain old Stupid.
