The Qatar Investment Authority and Brookfield Property Partners have increased their bid for control of Songbird Estates, the majority owner of east London business district Canary Wharf, to £2.6bn. The final offer values the company at 350p a share. But it is still lower than the Songbird board's favoured valuation methodology, which put its value at 381p a share.
