Mexican fashion model, actor, and singer Eduardo Verastegui left his native Tamaulipas at the age of 17 to attend acting cla**es at Ciudad de Mexico, and he soon joined Latin pop group Kairo. As an actor, Eduardo Verastegui successfully played roles in local soap operas such as Mi Querida Isabel, Alma Rebelde, and Tres Mujeres. After moving to the U.S., Fernan Ramirez and producer Estefano helped him to get a record deal with Universal Music, issuing his self-titled debut album in 2001. ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide
