Edenbridge was founded by guitarist and songwriter Lanvall as a studio project. He already released three solo albums on German label Music Is Intelligence (aka WMMS) and Si Wan Records in Korea. Female singer Sabine Edelsbacher, ba**ist Kurt Bednarsky, and drummer Roland Navratil completed the lineup. When Edenbridge sent the demo version of the album to record companies, a deal with Ma**acre Records was signed right away. Soon, the band had worldwide recognition and the first release was licensed to South America, North America, and Japan.
