David Dilin - Tongue of Fire (Interlude) lyrics

[Poetry: David Dilin] If I asked you, "Is this the life you wanna live?" I'd bet it is. 'Cause if it isn't, Then I bet you'd live different. Separation of will comes from conviction: Birth from written verse that did a little convincin'. We were first to make a quick decision. In split seconds, now we reckon if this could distance Me from reality, or me from what's absolute. So which Avenue? I would choose the Truth if I had to choose. Well, no room for hypotheticals. I know I gotta choose But I stay swishin' 'round this apple juice in my receptacle. Food for Thought: It can't be bought like a grocery. It must be cultivated in a garden of devotion. But how do we produce produce? With soaked roofs of green houses And sunshine for the magnum opus. And as it opens to bloom like a tulip, The Truth be like a seed through my two lips. Blaze the Tongue of Fire. [Singing: David Dilin] We've gone away. A Darker shade has gotten lighter. Seeds blow away, grow today into papyrus. Speak. You have today. Another day, it isn't promised. We have to wait. Time to blaze the Tongue of Fire
