Once again it is spring and the world awakes. Life is renewing itself with leaves of green and Flower blossoms of pinks, red, and purple. Children play baseball again in the warm sun And parents look on with hopeful eyes. It is a time I should enjoy, but cannot. My heart is heavy and aches for my friends. My best buddy, the only one I truly trust Will not be with us to the end of the year. He is blessed with the love of many friends, But the cancer will soon take him forever. Another friend needs my support and understanding. He has lost one he loves, but all I can do is understand. I understand the pain and fear far more than he knows. The loneliness grows, but then subsides a bit. Never truly gone, but dulled with time. I will stick with him until such time as he Chooses to move on to another. My children want to come home, Yet we must depend on a stranger. The stranger named "Judge" must preside Before they can return to their home. Fear and un-certainty overwhelming.
