Casey_Seline - Experiment 6 lyrics

Jamison was the youngest of four children. His dad was a doctor and his mom worked as a guard in the penitentiary. Baby of the family, he was doted upon by his erratic, hoarder of a mother and beat upon by his three older siblings, one boy and two girls. They lived in a nice house in a regular city with every kind of pet imaginable except for reptiles. Jamison was a happy child and a smart one too. One of Jamison's favorite memories was receiving his first Gameboy for Christmas when he was six. His dad took him to the game store to buy his first videogames. Jamison became very attached to his games. He dialed up the Internet to read what other people thought about the games and with the Internet's help, he became the master of all games. He couldn't get enough of them. Gameboy, Nintendo, Xbox, PlayStation, he owned and loved them all. But being a master had its toll on Jamison. He grew tired of them. And that's when he dialed up the Internet once again to learn how to make his own games. Hell broke loose when Jamison was 11. His parents divorced. His dad left the family. Later in life, they would become Facebook friends and Jamison would get to watch as his dad obtained a new wife and a new family and still managed to keep a full head of hair. His dad would show up for his brother's wedding, and would occasionally call Jamison with computer problems. Jamison didn't always return his calls. Budgets were tighter when Jamison entered middle school, but he knew enough about videogames to gain all sorts of friends for himself. He became friends with Neema and Cohagen and Nick and Mong Kuen. They played games together online after school. They still do today on occasion, when the workday is done. They had life chats over instant messenger. Cohagen's parents got divorced. Puberty was a thing that was happening. Girls were cute. Cohagen remained Jamison's closest friend and gamer into high school. Jamison was included in Cohagen's family vacations. Cohagen's dad was an admirable guy. Eventually, Jamison got a girlfriend. They dated for two years of high school; years which Jamison would later reflect on in therapy sessions. Hannah wasn't good to him. She forced religion upon him, told him he was a sinner. She said he was lucky he had her because no one else would want him. Jamison was pa**ive. Hannah lodged in his subconscious. A gangly boy with a mop of blonde hair graduated at the top of his cla** and went to the local university with a full ride. He studied computer science. He had been familiar with it since his childhood, so HTML, CSS, JS, Java, they all came easily to him. Jamison graduated with the highest degree and a broken heart. Katie had turned out just like Hannah. Optimistic and oblivious to what lay outside his city, Jamison took a fancy job in California working for Amazon. Three months in, he felt defeated. The real world was not so fun and making friends was not as easy as it had been in middle school.
