10/7/13: Today, in Catching Fire, I finished the book. Katniss is still upset about the whole arena thing and what might happen to her family. She's in a hospital with Finnick and Haymitch and they are discussing what might happen now with the rebellion and all. She ends up going back to her hospital room and gets a surprise visit by Gale. He tells her that her family is fine, but something happened to district 12. He tells her that district 12 got blown up and isn't there anymore. The book pretty much ends there. 10/8/13: free. 10/9/13: Today, I started Mocking-Jay, The third book in the hunger games trilogy. The book pretty much starts out with Katniss wandering around the remains of her district and talks about how hard it is to believe that this is what happened after the games. She talks about how Peeta got kidnapped and talks about her family. 10/10/13: Today, in Mocking-Jay, I read the part where Katniss still continues to rummage through the rubble of district twelve and find some things from her house that were in good enough condition to take back. She also found a cat that her sister loves dearly, bu*tercup, and takes it back to her sister. She also talks about some new people that she met like Plutarch Heavensbee, Fulvia Cardrew, and Alma Coin. She just talks about how they are helping her. 10/11/13: Today, in Mocking-Jay, I read the part where Katniss is still talking about the war. She also talks about how she sees Peeta on the t.v screen having another interview with the capitol officials. She's glad that he's alive but she wants to go and save him, because she is afraid he is being tortured.
