Callie Trundle - Week 7 reading journal period 4 lyrics

9/23/13: I am still reading Catching Fire. Today,I read the part about how Katniss finds out that she is going back into the hunger games again, her and Peeta. She mostly just talks about what it feels like to find out something that horrific, to endure those nightmares again.She also talks about how her and Haymitch, her and Peeta's mentor, are going to set up a plan to save Peeta and make sure that he wins. So far she's kind of depressed, not much happening yet. 9/24/13: Today, in Catching Fire, I read the part where Katniss and Peeta are watching tapes from previous Hunger Games. They also find the one with Haymitch and watch that one. They pretty much just sit there and talk about how they could use the different fighting techniques used in the videos. 9/25/16: Today, in Catching Fire, I read the part where Katniss meets another victor from one of the previous Hunger Games. His name was Finninck, and they pretty much just have small talk. The same thing happens when she meets Johanna, another victor from previous Hunger Games. After she meets some of the other victors, her, Peeta, and Haymitch just talk about going back into the arena and how she and Peeta have to make allies. 9/26/13: Today, in Catching Fire, I read the part where all of the tributes go to the training center and practice combat and survival sk**s.While Katniss and Peeta are there, they try to make allies. Katniss doesn't really like it, but Haymitch insists that she try anyway. 9/27/13: Today, in Catching Fire, I read the part where Katniss and Peeta get evaluated in the training area. Katniss thinks it would be a good idea to get one of the training dummies and dress it up as one of the game makers and and hang it off a noose she made to show off her knot tying sk**s. It was supposed to be a sign of her rebellion. It made them pretty angry but I think that was her plan while she was making the dummy.
