9/16/13: Today, in Catching Fire, I read the part where Katniss and Peeta are on a tour to the different districts to give thank you speeches for all of the tributes that died and to show respect for the losses. The interesting part, is when they get to district eleven, they give their speeches and Katniss decides to say thank you to Rues family and the district for their support. Because of that, an old man in the crowd decides to speak up, and after that the soldiers end up shooting him, because that was a form of rebellion. 9/17/13: Today, in Catching Fire, I read the part where Katniss and Peeta are still on the tour through the districts. They also have to get interviewed again to talk about the victory tour, and Peeta proposes to Katniss. She says yes, the whole proposal thing is a set-up. They are doing it to try and trick and please the capitol and President Snow. But sadly, the President knows the trick and tells her that it's not enough, so she is in danger right now. 9/18/13: Today, in Catching Fire, I read the part where Katniss and Peeta are in their district and they are talking about the uprisings in the other districts. Katniss walks into the mayors office and sees a video about the uprisings going on in other districts and tells Peeta about it. While that is happening, Gale gets caught poaching and she finds him being whipped in the town square, and jumps in to save him. She then brings him back to her mom for treatment. 9/19/13: Today, in Catching Fire, I read the part where Katniss is still trying to cope with everything that has happened to Gale. She also decides to go to the woods. When she gets there, she is being followed by two girls that escaped from district eight. They start to talk about the uprising there and eat some food while they talk. 9/20/13: Today, in Catching fire, not much has changed really. They are still discussing the uprisings in the other districts. When Katniss gets to the fence she has to climb over to get into the woods, she realizes it's on and electricity is running through it. So she has to climb a tree and get over the top, but she bruises her tailbone and breaks the heel in her foot.
