12/2/13: Today, in Mocking-Jay, I read the part where Katniss just k**ed coin with and arrow through the heart and snow dies by coughing up a bunch of blood. After Katniss does this, she tries to k** herself with the nightlock, but Peeta stops her in time. She pretty much just starts to go insane clawing at people, biting people, kicking until the guards are able to take her to hospital and put her in an empty room by herself. She's there for a while and starts to kind of lose it. Eventually Haymitch comes in and tells her that she can go home. 12/3/13: Today, in Mocking-Jay, I read the part where Katniss gets to go home. However, when she gets there, all she does is stay holed up in her room and doesn't eat and refuses to leave to wallow in her misery. She eventually comes out and when she does she goes outside because she smelled something, it was Peeta planting flowers. He was finally able to come back home and decided that he should plant some primroses in her garden because he thought she would like them. When she saw them she went back inside to go and cry some more. 12/4 12/5: Performance final 12/6/13: Today, I finished Mocking-Jay, I read the part where Katniss just went inside to cry. She understands that she has to eventually go outside of her room and hunt again. She starts to call Dr. Aurelius and get some therapeutic relief. She and Peeta and eventually grow back together and become good friends again. In the Epilogue, it says that Katniss and Peeta are married and they have 2 children, a boy and a girl. She talks about how scared she was to have them because if her past. She also talks about how in school the children learn about the Hunger games . Then the book ends.
