How would a rapper go about getting onto this tape ? Any qualifications or anything ?
I have a friend who joined the site in August. He's a verified artist and has contributed some of his lyrics with annotations. Would he be able to be on the tape? Basically, are there length-of-membership requirements?
Can the producer of a track also rap on that same track?
Are we still sticking with the criteria of at least 2 verses by 2 or more separate rappers on every track?
What kind of subject matter can I make for the tracks? Should I put only unreleased material on this mixtape?
How diverse will the project be, because there's various styles in RG going from Shad Fers boom bap style to DRC's very commercial style of rap. Whats type of beats is the tape going to be composed of? I just think naturally this project is going to lean to a particular style of rap because of the people running it, so i believe you should be very vocal on what branch of rap your gearing this project to so theirs lets controversy later on in the project. (Just my opinion) I mean, like tracks that a oriented to high specific things, such as a track where your mean't to focus on the lyrics of the rapper, tracks that are more oriented to the hook being catchy and well written, or even a more trap style of rapping where the beat is the factor that is supposed to be highlighted and focused on. And going into further detail is the project going to be cohesive, in the style of beats. will the tape be compiled of a more low key old school style production or more modern louder production full of synths and in your face sounds
