From birth the pious instill in us that we are an abomination of flesh and blood
That invisible hands mete out morals, truths that must never be questioned
We live out our lives in fear of judgement based on archaic biases
Playing the fool to their religious egoism
Tear their lies up at the roots
No longer held slave to false truths
Morality is not dictated by guilt of sin
Strength of truth is held from within
Cautious is every action taken to appease an all-seeing eye
But where does the integrity of that value lie?
'Greater love hath no man' than he who strives for truth and honesty
With no reward of fear of retribution
Tear their lies up at the roots
No longer held slave to false truths
Morality is not dictated by guilt of sin
Strength of truth is held from within
Compa**ion, hope, truth, love, integrity
The vehicle that has driven man to survive
And it will outlive your god
