Daylight falls away from me
The jumbles float onward anyway
The hues in the seas are the skies in race
Against the pool of the visible day
And all along, I see what it is I want
If I could just see through these colors
The range is broken
The depth, it feels swollen
I haven't a clue why I'm like this to start
Why do I want to go on lonely?
A strange duty?, the cure seems away
Morning is like a surrender to me
Today day lights mundane cold winds come up dry from the east
And meet the sealine flush and broken
And that's where I will swim and play
In the feline colors of the day
And when it gets colder,
Then that's when I retire
I haven't a clue why I like this to start
Why do I want to go on lonely?
A strange duty?, the cure seems away
I haven't a clue why I'm like this today.
