This world is full of wonders, so beautiful and nice.
But the thing that thrills me the most is the one that comes packaged by the slice
Some bunnies live for carrots, some others go for pie
But if I don't get some bread, I think I'm gonna cry.
When I'm hungry and I need to be fed, I love bread!
White bread, brown bread, pumpernickel too.
So many kinds of bread I want to share them all with you.
Toasted or plain, I love it so.
And my piano even starts with dough, doe, doe doe DOE!!!!
Cover it with bu*ter, or margarine if you must.
But please, baby, please don't throw away the crust.
Doesn't matter what kind of spread
I love bread - that's what I said.
From the moment I wake up each morning
Till I'm soundly asleep in my bed, I love bread.
