I dont need a DJ nothing slows me down
I need no one clapping when Im high on sound
Tragedy is a dance floor when I move my feet
I roll like a disco ball
Every time my life plays in a minor key
Every time I feel eyes looking down on me
I listen to my heartbeat so I can play by ear
And life sings with me Rockstars in my soul and Ill be just fine
My self-deception tells me that if tears I find
Ill shake them off with sound and keep on moving on
Lonely is not a crime if Im here dancing
If theres any noise I only feel it bouncing
I play like a rockstar, as high as a rockstar
I fly with my headphones on If the lights are off implying tragedy
If a violin accents my misery
I leave it on my piano and then rehearse that song
And I learn to sing along
Every time I panic and my breathings fast
Every time I feel off tempo I just press pause
I listen to my heartbeat so I can play by ear
And life sings with me
