Song of Beauty
Sing celestial bird of songs in heaven
(In melodies so sweet that petrifies
Birds ‘nd beast ‘nd the hearts of Men. )
In syllables of ancient sylvan rhymes
Look at the rubi wine in your veins
Cherish the throbbing heart that sighs
You were created to be with him
Who was morose even in paradise
The miracle of God, the core of chaos
Tiara of the creatures which will mesmerize
The first of creation on the face of earth
The last who breathes you, shall be eternized.
Why should not I sing, louder sing
Chirping songs of birds in pine.
