Track 1 Opening Credits
Very nice intro to the project. The soul sample is on point and Spitta actually drops most of the weed talk and airs out his early beginnings in the game
8/10
Track 2 Long As The Lord Say
Super awesome beat here that really has Curren$y going great in his lane. So chilled and on point at setting the atmosphere well
8.5/10
Track 3 Cargo Planes
Really tough beat on here that just feels dark as f**. Curren$y really rides the beat as well. This like a mix of horrocore beat mixed with laid back flow and lyrics
9/10
Track 4 Froze
If you hate Riff Raff, you will hate this track. I love him though, his verse is nice, but his hook is super dope. Spitta does great, but damn if that hook isn't something else. The Harry Fraud beat is some top notch sh** as well
9/10
Track 5 Get Down
Another chill as track that has an extremely appealing beat on it. Curren$y has settled into his zone at its point and we are far enough into the album where everything blurs together into one giant amazing trip
8.5/10
Track 6 Sidewalk Show
Kind of a more upbeat, soulful, almost tropical beat really sets this song off. Spitta himself picks up his flow to a mucher faster rate than usual. Another super dope track
8.5/10
Track 7 the 560 SL
Another dope a** beat and Wiz actually k**ed this, like this seriously might have been one of his better features in a while. The whole vibe of this is just chill as f**
8.5/10
Track 8 Audio Dope 5
Not the best in the Audio Dope series, because that honor goes to #2, but this might be the second best one. The beat is straight flames and Curren$y maintains his sh** well
9/10
Track 9 Life I Chose
My favorite track on the album easily. The beat is just so dope and the hook is golden as well. The way the instrumental transitions into the hook and back to Curren$y is just straight perfect
9.5/10
Track 10 Pot Jar
A pretty good beat as well as a great feature from Jadakiss. While there are some good vibes on here, it doesn't stand out a whole lot from any other songs
7.5/10
Track 11 Search Party
Another good song but not necessarily great. The spitting is great on here but the beat is just a little too somber for me, almost to the point of background music
7.5/10
Track 12 All I know
Literally an A+ beat right here. It just has a very subtle yet awesome vibe to it that just works extremely well. At this point I can't really talk much about the lyrics as it is all PMW, but Curren$y does it in an endearing way
9/10
Track 13 Briefcase
While the beat might be repurposed from Trademark Da Skydiver, they picked a hell of a beat to borrow. Curren$y also puts out one of his best hooks for this song. Feels like something that would accompany a drug deal scene out of a movie
9/10
Track 14 Lemonade Mimosas
Feels like mixtape Curren$y, which means that he is comfortably in his zone. A surprisingly chill beat from JungleBeatz. Whole thing vibes great
8.5/10
Track 15 Alert
A great way to end out the project with. Has a victory lap feel to it with the beat and conclusion verse from Spitta. Kind of surprised that he had Styles P have the last verse, but Curren$y never does stuff by the book
8/10
Final Verdict
Super dope project that will end up being very underrated by the Hip Hop community. Curren$y is always good, but when he goes and makes a Pilot Talk album he just seems to increase his talents even more and hitting a greater zone than usual. The features are all good and the beats are very amazing. It could have honestly have been better if he cut out one or two songs, but it is still very great just the way it is
Spitta is officially 3 for 3 for his Pilot Talk trilogy
8.5/10
