My mind hurts at this
I said my heart bleeds for this
I can't, fathom the pain, we'll never be the same
Is this a dream or real life? what has humanity became
So much hate in this world, I can never understand it

Where Violence is a must, and each side points the blame
Still we haven't figured out that we've all been the same from the start
See it's an art to grow wiser

Is the same as the driver
And the rest of us watch
As the love we once felt
Lowers just a notch more while theres no signs for help, we
Wanna make a change, well look in that mirror
And wipe off that smirk if you wanna see things clearer
That family you hold dear? maybe you should hold it dearer
And hug your mom tonight even nearer. see we're on the path to fail
It starts with ourselves and the culture that we live in
Where violence reigns hell, and heartache is a given
These artists nowadays only concern is what their sippin

While the homicide rates are showing exponential growth, god damn

A world without love but just hate that one seeks is
