A stem and leaf diagram is a way of representing a lot data in an easy-to-read way.
In particular, it makes it easy to work out the median and mode of data.

First, here's how to make one.
You will usually need two columns, a narrow one on the left and wide one on the right.
Put the "tens" in the narrow column on the left.
Now put the units in the wide column on the right.
Remember to add a key.
