A epic hero monomyth is a 12 step cycle which almost every single hero goes through. There are 12 steps starting with status quo and ending with a resolution some steps my not always be in an exact order but they will eventually come out. These 12 steps are mostly all found within things that the hero either goes through or things that may happen to him/her. Some people may say that some heroes have nothing to do with each other but they all go through the same steps some may just be better then other but they still go through they same thing . heros like luke skywalker from star wars and wendy from peter pan but I say wendys better.
Luke Skywalker is considered a hero in the story star wars because first he is in a unusual living with his aunt and uncle then he receives a mysterious message from a princess , After his aunt and uncle are k**ed by Imperial troops, Luke sees no option but to travel with Kenobi away from Tatooine then Luke's journey begins on the Millennium Falcon with his new friends Kenobi, the droids R2-D2 and Han Solo, They head to the Alderaan system where they expect to find the princess. But Luke and friends discover that the princess, Leia, is in one of the prison cells. They create a plan to rescue her, and manage to all escape on the Falcon. Therefore luke is considered a hero for saving the princess .
Wendy from peter pan is a hero and he adventure starts when she is told by her parents and aunt that she is too immature and that it is time for her to grow up then later . One Peter Pan visited Wendy The two became friends right away Later he became her mentor because Peter Pan asked Wendy to run away with him to his home in Never Land. And then she meets the kids that are there then she helps them and saves them from all the pirates on ever land so wendy is a hero because she saved the kids .
Wendy is a better hero because i feel like it's more realistic to help kids then to help princesses because there are not many actual princesses now a days , also because it may persuade people to help kids with what they may need specially in our modern world with many orphans , poor kids , staving kids and many other things that kids now a days have to go through so I believe that Wendy is a much better hero then Luke Skywalker .
In conclusion all heros go through the same step just that in similar ways. all stores have this steps they may just not be clear you may have to look for a while but the steps are there . just like in peter pan some steps took a while to figure out but when you find it , it all makes sense . also in star wars most steps were not so obvious as others. but at the end you will se how amlost every storie you look at with a heo they willl have the3 same steps .
