Genesis and Greek creation stories are both similar and different in how they use literary archetypes.
Both the Greek and Genesis creation stories utilize the villain archetype. Because Cronus didn't want anyone to take over what he had. "Cronus swallowed each of his children as they were born" (Greek Myth). This proves that Cronus is filling the role of the villain archetype. His lust for power is so great that he selfishly sacrifices his own children to keep the throne. Uran*s was a bad father and husband he hated Hecatoncheires . he imprisoned them by pushing them in hidden places on earth. Uran*s was a bad father because he imprisoned them. Also he pushed them to unknown places . this examples show both stories using villain archetype.
The Greek and genesis creation stories also contrast, with the former having an epic battle or father /son and the latter a garden archetype. This quote describes a little of how much of a rivery the father and the son had “Cronus grabbed his father and castrated him” .this reflects father son rivery cause a father should not do that to his own son . also not just that this tells us that he didn't treat him right . “Earth produced green seed-bearing plants, all varieties, and fruit-bearing trees of all sorts”. This detail describes to us what is in the the special place and it tell us that there are plants of all kinds and fruit tress of course any one would like to be there cause there is what to eat and looks good. These two stories contrasts because they do not have the same archetype and neither do the archetype have anything to do with each other .
