[Verse 1]
Walking along on a nice sunny day
Can get you connected in a surprising way
Like an intro to serenity, a drive-thru a masterpiece
But instead more often than not ran through by a wildebeest
People seem too miss out the small intricacies of life
Like eating a pretzel and thinking “man that was nice”
Obsessed with the rudimentary, thinking it's complementary
This sort of thought simply doesn't make sense to me
Like a gla**-handed plastic surgeon or a man named “Klondue”
How can how lucky you are be of no importance to you?
Just think of the complications and probabilities of even being alive
That none a single one of your ancestors brought up had died
Before getting laid and pa**ing on their genes
And causing existence to someone hundreds of years on down the line
Now here you are thinking everything isn't fine
“This world we live in is so empty and lame
There probably isn't a god and it's such a shame”
Well maybe not but what does it matter
We're all here and there's cake on the platter
If there's anything we all dearly need to know
It's that there's a lot deep in our hearts that we can show
Like courtesy and a hand to a friend or neighbor
One day I know we'll all learn to work together
Just gotta follow a few simple rules and be nice
Instead of scurrying all over each other like mice
How about making the first choice not fighting
Instead of being rude your lip you should be biting
And think about how something will be received on the other end
You'll find you have stronger legs on which you can stand
Just look outside and see all the beautiful animals
Or lay back in the dark and light up some candles
Whatever you gotta do to feel right in this world
Because once you do your own will unfurl
[Verse 2]
Well anyway, I was walking back home on a nice sunny day
I pa**ed by someone I sorta knew and I said hey
They smiled and waved and we chatted for a bit
There was a bench nearby and we decided to sit
Discussing the minor mechanisms of everyday life
Like the mathematics and equations behind even having a strife
Or the coincidence of meeting each other here in this spot
This particular incidence is more complex than once thought
We exchanged numbers and pledge that we'd talk more
This slight intersection opened up grand guilt-edged door
And if you think about it, isn't this all interactions?
All friendships, all loves, created from the tiniest of fractions
