Julius Caesar was an honorable man. People looked up to him as a leader for their country. He has political beliefs and motives. He is considered to be a tragic hero. A tragic hero is a main character who is caught up in a series of events that eventually lead to downfall or disaster. Through his beliefs, motives, and actions. He proves to be a tragic hero. He had the political view of giving the plebeians and lower cla**es land and food and to increase their lot in life. He presented laws that aided the lower cla** men whether from tax reduction or giving free handouts of food. These laws gave land to all of Pompey's soldiers and many plebeians. He believed Rome was destined to rule the world. The purpose was to bring civilization to the world. He believed he had that much power. Julius Caesar was a**a**inated on March 44 B.C. Many of his a**a**ins were jealous of him. Most of the conspirators were angry about the fact that he had deprived the senate. They were also angry that they required few honors while he received many more. He established a new constitution, which was intended to accomplish three separate goals.
Julius is very stubborn. He refused to heed the nightmares of his wife, Calpurnia. He lets his ambition get the better of him. His conflation of his public image helps bring about his d**h. He believes that the immortal status granted to his public self somehow protects his mortal body. Caesar's faith is that his etemal proves valid. I believe that Brutus was wrong for planning to k** Caesar. Caesar was a good leader to his people and his country. But other people believed that Brutus was better which is why he and a couple of people planed this a**a**ination on Caesar. Caesar is better than Brutus because he treated his people with respect.
