He had the political view of giving the plebeians and lower cla**es land and food and to increase their lot in life. He presented laws that aided the lower cla** men whether from tax reduction or giving free handouts of food. These laws gave land to all of Pompey's soldiers and many plebeians. He believed Rome was destined to rule the world. The purpose was to bring civilization to the world. He believed he had that much power.
Julius Caesar was a**a**inated on March 44 B.C. Many of his a**a**ins were jealous of him. Most of the conspirators were angry about the fact that he had deprived the senate. They were also angry that they required few honors while he received many more. He established a new constitution, which was intended to accomplish three separate goals.
