Endless ways that lead us up and down
Have brought us to a place
We've learned to call it home.
A silent site, cleaned up and crystal-white
With an immaculate facade
But sadly dead inside
So we've built our wooden houses
On the ground of history
They are higher than a mountain
And they're stronger than the sea
Locked in!
Locked out!
Endless days with games of hide and seek
Have led us just into
A flashy one way street
Greedy eyes that fail to look behind
The quickly fading glow
Enchased into our minds
