Chilean heavy metal band Inquisicion was formed in June of 1993 by ex-Torturer guitarist Manolo Shaffler and drummer Carlos Hernandez, who were joined the following year by ex-Panzer Freddie Alexis. In 1997, nquisicion's debut album, called Steel Vengeance, was released by the independent label Deifer Records, soon after making a video based on its song "Innocent Sinner." In 1998, the group participated in a compilation called In Nomini, issued by Toxic Records.
