Clouds float suspended in my nothing box
Six smooth sides reflecting endlessly out to infinity
Life is calm and so quiet here in my nothing box
The walls are thick and warm and they hold me in and shelter me
Nothing gets to me
Light can't escape and neither do my thoughts
They just bounce around
They don't make any sound
They sink down to the bottom of the sea
I never get lonely here in my nothing box
Though I sometimes feel there could be so much more then it just slips away
I drift out in the emptiness and I lose myself
Hearing my own breathing my own heartbeat race there's no way out and I don't care
No I don't care
There's no world out there...
Until I think of you
Then I know what I should do
But it's so hard to leave
This box has a key
But it can't work from inside
Thought I could leave when I wanted to
It all depends on you
When I close my eyes
That is when I see your face
I can see you speaking though the words fall away
Everything is fading now
Was it ever real
My memories of the outside
Wash away like rain
I reach out to you
Time has no meaning in my nothing box
I could stay forever as the world moves on
I don't eat
I don't sleep
I don't touch
I can't feel anything
Until I hear your voice and I come back to you
