On the first and final day
The lonely Sheba hides away.
Tensed and nervously she lies.
Snarling Lady is ready to spring.
Hidden in the leaves the natives wait,
Ready at a sign to seal her fate.
And nature's game once more begins.
The last one running, is she that wins.
And Sheba's eyes meet the sky.
Flashing through the ground, biding time.
The flowing river hides her scent,
But tonight's view won't be so fine.
The first and final day
Ends in sunset's flaming haze.
Paints a stillness all around.
The Lady must move quickly now,
Like fleeting dreams now she has gone.
The morning shadow sees the sun.
Fly swiftly on her fleet of one.
And soon the new day breaks to dawn.
And Sheba's eyes find the sky
Falling to the ground, biding time
The flowing river slowly winds
But tonight's view won't be so fine
