An empty sofa
Stares back in longing
Missing her gentle grace
It once held her beauty
Now only vacant silence
Exuding a bare loneliness
Which beckons and calls
Can still see her tender smile
Wishing the sofa still held her
Yet it does not
Only a transparent recall
Of a time no more
