Next, Luke sees his most feared enemy, Darth Vader , k** his master Obi- Wan Kenobi. Young Skywalker confronts his greatest foe. Another Epic Hero Monomyth could be Iron Man, leader of The Avengers. Tony Stark is in Afghanistan on weaponry business. He's fulfilling the status quo step in the monomyth. Iron Man battles Iron Monger. Iron Man is in the approach stage. Iron Monger is defeated and destroyed. Iron Monger's destruction is the result stage.
The best role model for epic hero monomyth would probably be Tony Stark (Iron Man). It is because he starts off as a ordinary weaponry businessman. He is also a brilliant scientist. Those are his first steps in becoming a epic hero. Later on, Tony Stark confronts Obadiah Stane, as the Iron Monger, in his Iron Man armor. The approach is that his friend becomes his greatest enemy. The new life for Tony is after the battle, Tony decides to help people all over the world. There are many other epic heroes, but these two are probably the perfect/greatest role models you can find.
