Summertime
Billy's eyes wander âround the room
As all the kids play outside the threat of danger looms
To the naked eye Billy's bound to drawing in his chair
Soaring through the sky he hears the sound of a damsel in despair
So off he goes to foil the scheme
On one more grand Crayola color dream What dreams a child's mind contrives
As towards the earth he dives
Cutting through the clouds just like a knife
He makes a daring rescue
Saves her life from the clutch of evil
All with time to spare
Before the street lights flicker on
It's dinner time and the children have all gone
He shares the days dreams and they come along on the many adventures of Billy Strong
Wintertime
Billy flies a rocket to the moon
While all the kids have a snowball fight that lasts all afternoon
And though you'd think he'd cry or feel left out just drawing in his chair
He's too preoccupied with happenings outside our atmosphere
So off he goes catching moonbeams Creating grand Crayola color dreams
On dreams this child's mind survives
Like this one he contrives
Streaming through the stars on hyper-drive
He makes a stop by Mars where Martians thrive
Has a close encounter
All with time to spare
Before the street lights flicker on
It's dinner time and the children have all gone
He shares the day's dreams and they come along on the many adventures of Billy Strong
