Last year we broke the record, never seen so many dead
This year is no exception, although it remains unsaid
Remember, injustice doesn't sleep when you go to bed
Modern days ma** murder & misery is so widespread
Fools preach, but they misread, see through you like infrared
Yet we keep puttin' power in the hands of the knucklehead
Don't forget how brothers are supposed to break bread
Instead, serve an empty plate, greed grew outta self-hate
Ain't paranoid, yet trust the warning and fear the threat
We lost too many this year, a couple myself
We'll meet on the other side, if all goes well
RIP, got that phone call Saturday night at 7:43
& instantly, you were gone, reduced to a memory
Perhaps you free, cuz the last years were misery
Yet you lived to see the horror of this century
This world is just secondary, & the pain is temporary
Know where to find you, relocated to the cemetery
Life is hard for a reason, trust me little girl
There is more to it than seen in this world
And some final words for my unborn son
Don't run, when told that the good die young
Let words be your weapons & always carry a gun
Rule 1, watch your tongue, be innocent like a nun
Cuz ain't no such thing as trust, paranoia is a must
In a world so far from just, people controlled by lust
The same people pay the price when the gun bust
Forgot that eventually we will all return to dust
