life's a bad movie i see it all coming
can't draw me in out of my disbelief
the purest emotion's just cheap imitation
can't get involved, get a moment's relief
life's a bad movie but i'm way past caring
so i'll sit and watch with a beer and some friends
together we'll laugh at the plot and the people
i know where it's going and how it will end
