I am three
In my mother's arms
By the base there's a sea
Sand hills, orange skies
Counting paratroopers
As they sail the air
High above in the clouds
Paratroopers sailing in the air
We stand in the backyard
And watch them float away
And I send my weary eyes
Closer to the shore
And I see the waters flow
Closer to the door
And I'm waiting for the hour
Waiting for a war
To take me far away from home
And break me like an accident
