The news is turned on and someone's life just turned off
Pa**ing of a fellow human should be a concerned loss
What gave us the right to frown upon someone for being different
Our eyes see everything but about our actions we are illiterate
Allow me to pull down this veil and put an end to your ignorance
Why oh Why can't we see that we're hurting another soul
Behind each smile is sadness and for that we all play a role
*my pain may be the reason for someone's laugh
but my laugh must never be the reason for someone's pain*
Amen Mr. Charlie Chaplin
What's worse is that one's existence isn't felt until they are gone
Truth is all they desired is for a shoulder to rest on
As they used to be that shoulder during a time once upon
They continue to say what goes around comes around
Yet still the nice ones continue to get treated in a mean manner
Forcing them to get madder and madder
Eventually to the point that they must snap
Leaving us with a gift of guilt that takes years to unwrap
Perhaps that is the true meaning of justice
Not all of us can be a saint like augustus
But is it too much to ask to open the heart you were given
Before the time comes for their bones to stiffen
Watching an angel take a soul into the air
You say Rest In Peace I say Remember In Prayers
