Don't take away my God
Don't take away my guns
Don't tell me who I can and can't love
Don't take away my speech
Don't tell me how to be me
Only God can judge and it's my right to be free
So what if I go to church
And raise my kids to obey God's word?
While my neighbor loves someone the same as them
We are all created equal and they're my friends
I will never judge, no that's not my place
I love everyone no matter who they are just the same
I have no trust in the government to keep me safe
I should probably just put the 2nd amendment in a frame
Don't take away my God
Don't take away my guns
Don't tell me who I can and can't love
Don't take away my speech
Don't tell me how to be me
Only God can judge and it's my right to be free
Don't take away my God no
Don't take away my guns
So what if I look different than you?
And wear different clothing than I'm supposed to
While my kids grow up feeling insecure because they can't express what they feel
Cause society is trying to tell them what is real
I praise Jesus Christ, there is no other name
But I'll be damned if other people's religious liberty is taken away
Don't take away my God
Don't take away my guns
Don't tell me who I can and can't love
Don't take away my speech
Don't tell me how to be me
Only God can judge and it's my right to be free
