A world away you seem to find the solitude
Of a thousand lifetimes and a thousand silences
Where no one roams and no one speaks in turn
This be your domain, a possessive future land
Versatility is the decoration as is the d**h
But is it really d**h that stirs in the blood?
Or is the fear of living?
The smell of buring flesh is polluting the air
The air burning in its fickle defeat
And the silence screams a thousand answers to the unsuspecting mind
The nothingness is secretive as you ponder your replies
Then sink into a restless and unforgiving delusion
Demons scream their curses as you toss and turn in fear
And spirits clawing upward shriek for sweet release
The sweetness revolts the human mind and screeches in your ears
As you block them now to silence the pain of that unending night
Suddenly you awake from the unsuspected dream
Before plunging down a vortex filled with dark and night
Altruism fades as the darkness makes you run
Faster and faster as creatures then surround you
Running as you fall like a child to a doctor's bed,
O the horror and the hell that you can see in here
Defiance now is fading, accept your future vision
Screaming on your knees and pleading for release
Swirling down the pit, the vortex and despair
And so, you enter the New World.
